Coudenhove-Kalergi (the Dark Side of the EU)   Topic List   < Prev Topic  |  Next Topic >

Re: Coudenhove-Kalergi (the Dark Side of the EU)

There is a passage in H. T. Hansen's article "Julius Evola und die
deutsche konservative Revolution" [Criticón 158 (April/Mai/June 1998)
pp. 16-32] that would interest some of us here to a certain extent...
Yes, `to a certain extent', as Hansen claims in it that Evola
contributed to Coudenhove-Kalergi's publication Pan-Europa, while not
substantiating this claim.

In the article in question the author speaks at a certain point about
Evola publishing in Prinz Karl Anton von Rohan's "Europäische Revue".
What follows then is a paragraph called VON ROHAN'S IDEA'S ABOUT
EUROPE where is being explained that Von Rohan's views on a European
order differ very much from those of Coudenhove-Kalergi and his Pan-
Europa Movement. Added is then that <start quote>Evola clearly stood
much closer to the principles of von Rohan, which didn't prevent him
to publish also in the editorial of von Coudenhove-
Kalergi, "Paneuropa".<end quote> (roughly translated from the Dutch
translation of the article).

Since the group owner has shed the necessary light on Coudenhove-
Kalergi and the weltanschauung he actually represents, it would be
good to have this issue clarified.
As it now stands the claim appears to be dubious in nature, as it
lacks a further explanation and has no note attached to it (while
throughout the article there are a lot of notes!).

If there is indeed truth to it, than we must also ask the question
how well informed Evola was about the editorial and it's contents.
