Hello,
As announced a few weeks ago, the new translation into French of the
first chapter of 'Il Cammino del cinabro', "Le contexte personnel et
les premières expériences" ("Personal background and first
experiences") is now available at
http://thompkins_cariou.tripod.com/id62.html . To those who have read
this work - both the French edition and the Italian edition are no
longer available - besides the mistranslation which is found in it
and which we have already pointed out, another one has to be
mentionned: p. 10, Evola does not say that "What filled us with even
more enthusiasm at that time was the paradoxical, controversial,
individualistic, iconoclast, revolutionary Papini: since, in spite of
the brilliant heretical veneer of his writings, we thought that he
did not take himself seriously", but precisely the contrary: " What
filled us with even more enthusiasm at that time was the paradoxical,
controversial, individualistic, iconoclast, revolutionary Papini:
since, in spite of the brilliant heretical veneer of his writings, we
thought that he took himself seriously".
