I thank the owner to quote the Evola's reference to pizza and gondolas: now I feel more at home here, but my intention was only to point out the uselessness of a formal initiation in the West, not to claim some Italian superiority derived from the geographical heritage.

The talk between Evola and Nasr referred just to the initiation (in Italy) and according to Evola the last true Romans moved to Prussia but probably not for tasting sauerkraut and frankfurter sausage or to look for an initiation rite still alive under the Prussian blue uniforms. It is obvious that Evola suggested slightly that a potential initiation be already living in the western people recognizing their spiritual roots, so we can move to Prussia looking for an echo exactly like we can remain where we are, the ideal fatherland quoted by Evola being neither Prussia or Rome, but where still live metaphysical Romanism, Prussianism, Aryanism.
