Satanism ( was: Start your new year right! .....activate yourself)

Certainly, Guénon would turn in his grave for many reasons,
especially if he got to hear that the kind of gel-a-Bah he would wear
in his Cairo years turns out to be a Muslim traditional women's wear,
if we are to believe the Estonian translator of his work, a
delightful scholar who spent a few years in the most remote areas of
Tadjikistan in the years 1970 with the most famous Muslim Russian
specialist in Evola, and who enjoys viennoiseries.

He would turn in it once again if he knew that the moderator of the
most Guenonian of Guenonian e-lists wondered why Evola found that
women in jeans are a disgrace. In any case, none of those who were in
contact with Evola before or/and after World War II described him as
having been obsessed or fascinated wit black uniforms. On the other
hand, people fascinated with a specific historical figure tend to
project their own obsessions onto them, according to a mental process
well-known by psychologists, psycho-analysts and child psychiatrists,
and, thus, to distort them. As a rule, fetishism played no part in
politics and in military things until quite recently, no more in the
choice of the colour of an uniform than in the choice of a military
insignia : for instance, the Totenkopf was chosen by the Waffen-SS as
a symbol of continuity between the Second and the Third Reich : the
use of that symbol as a military insignia began with the cavalry of
the Prussian army under Frederick the Great. These Hussars adopted a
black uniform with a Totenkopf emblasoned on the front of their
Mirletons, and wore it on the field in the War of Austrian Succession
and in the Seven Years War ; it continued to be used throughout the
Prussian and Brunswick Armed forces until 1918. The Totenkopf was
used throughout the inter-war period, most eminently by the
Freikorps. Like many other symbols in the post-war years, however, it
has been turned into a mere logo in the spooky context of a cheap so-
called homo-erotic aestheticism. In addition to anti-Nazi sex-shop
literature, there is an anti-Nazi sex-shop music, more insidiously
subtle though. That fashion is likely to have been launched in the
1970's by a really sinister character who nick-named himself after a
famous English soft food made by boiling oatmeal or other meal or
legumes in water or milk until thick, who is in close contact with
the boss of the German branch of the OTO, the influential
Abrahamsson, and who changed sex lately.

Since you refer to Varg Vikernes, a figurehead of Norwegian so-
called 'death metal' scene who was sentenced to jail for having
killed in cold blood one of his acquaintances and who, since then,
seems to have grown up, judging from a few excerpts from recent
writings of his which we read some time ago, it is interesting that
the individual who published in the late 1990's a book about that
musical scene, a book which has just been translated into French and
whose mediocrity reflects exactly the human type with which that
scene is filled, turns out to have ties with the Satanist culture
fluid which claims to adhere to the preposterous theories of that
sinister character whom we have just mentioned, and to be a follower
of another sinister character, namely Charles Manson, who, in his
turn, is worshipped by certain prominent members of the American so-
called far-right. Now, the 'German' branch of the OTO has been
recruiting in the Scandinavian intelligentsia, according to someone
from Norway who posted a message on a e-list a few months ago to
denounce the flirtation of prominent Norwegian scholars - he gave
their respective name and position - with the OTO. Therefore, it is
legitimate to wonder whether despotical measures such as the one
which was taken last year by the Norwegian she-minister for Children
and Family Affairs ( http://www.dw-
world.de/dw/article/0,,601897,00.html )may have been more or less
directly influenced by members of that sect or of related sects in
that Nordic gynaecocracy.

It is safe to say that none the individuals who hang around in those
fashionable circles would have been allowed to join a party like the
NSDAP, and would have been forced, for their own sake and for the
community's sake, to learn how to sew and how to turn over in
appropriate institutions, had they lived in the 193O's in Germany,
which they would most probably have scampered from, as concrete
racial measures were being taken there to bring an end to the process
of degeneration of the people and to rejuvenate and re-shape it
according to precise Nordic racial criteria. There is nothing hazy
about the characteristics of the Nordic type, nor is there anything
vague about any other racial type's. It has been defined clearly and
precisely by Evola, Günther, Clauss and other serious racialists, in
relation to a given human type which could still be found in some
German areas and, more generally, in Scandinavian countries, and
which was considered as the formative element of the related
civilisation.

As for knowing how far Evola was consistent with his own particular
approach to theory, the least which can be said is that his whole
life shows that he was far from being inconsistent with it. Speaking
of which a few members of this forum, which, as mentioned in
the 'welcome message', is intended to bring forward, to explain and
to study in particular the racial aspect of Evola's work, have been
consistent enough to actually read some of his racial works, and, for
most of them, this reading has recalled 'memories'.
