Have you covered any material on the origins
of the Western Zodiac? It seems to me that it must have its roots in a very old
Tradition, to which I would be interested in reading about, if I could locate
any decent material on the topic.
The Solar element in Egyptian mythos would definitely seem to indicate an Aryan feature. The
fact that the Sun is being eaten and subsequently spat out again by a female
divinity doesn’t really indicate otherwise – Night is personified as
feminine in the Rig Veda, sharing a type of ‘polarity’ with the
Goddess of Dawn, Usas. Is not Night usually portrayed
as a female?
